Natural Health Principles
1. First, Do No Harm
I often see clients who have gone through the conventional health care route, that has resulted in discouragement, for many different reasons. They decide to seek out natural health care because their health continues to deteriorate.
Natural health care offers therapies that provide a very low (if any) risk of unwanted side effects.
2. Nature Has Healing Powers
Have you ever accidentally cut yourself and had to get a drug or treatment of any sort to make it heal? Chances are you would say, ‘no.’
Our body has an amazing ability to heal as long as the cause is removed. Healing happens without us thinking about it. Nature takes care of itself.
3. Identify and Treat the Cause
Today, people rely on quick and simple solutions – a band-aid, so to speak. If a headache presents itself, they reach for the nearest Tylenol™, when in fact the cause of the headache isn’t a Tylenol™ deficiency. The cause of the headache may be attributed to any number of things, for example; dehydration, tension, allergies, toxicity, or low-blood sugar.
Self-awareness is the key to healing. 6. Prevention is the Best Cure Once we deal with the immediate health condition, a maintenance program is put in place to help prevent illness from happening again. Prevention, then, becomes a lifestyle. 7. Health and Wellness is a Responsibility We have been given a body to use while we are here on earth, and it is our responsibility to keep it in the best shape possible in order to carry out our life’s purpose. Questions to ask yourself: Am I drinking enough clean water? Am I eating quality, healthy foods, rather than devitalized chemical solutions? Am I bringing is as much energy as I’m giving up? Am I healing naturally, rather than suppressing my body with drugs? Do I love unconditionally, or does my love come with expectations? Am I spending time outside in nature, or am I constantly bathed in chemical pollution, radiation, and artificial light? Am I connected to a higher spirituality or am I isolated and alone? Do I exercise regularly, or am I allowing myself to waste away? Am I living my life to the fullest, or do I give my energy to fear? Are my daily decisions moving me closer to my objective of optimal health and longevity, or is every choice a step away?
Health and wellness are not a hobby, a fad, or a trend. Choose your best life!
